well...money is a big part of it too. and it doesnt seem llike there is a lot of that flowing these days.

well i think the big cash has been spent already in building the truck.....things i am miss is the 80, n2o kit, and an intake but cash is cash and has not been flowing that well for any one i think

i am calculating about 5g more to spend hopfully less lol thinking 80 around 2500-2800 have not shoped around and looked into how much of a built 80 i want since i know that a stock one can take a good beating.... stall an other 1000 and n2o kit n othr 1000

Idk, but I have some a little higher compression heads (60ccc) from Patriot used on my 5.3 f/s. Replaced 3 of the valves with Black Nitrates, and the heads come loaded with rockers, cromolies, dual gold spring, and titanium retainers. PM me if your interested.

Any progress yet pi? And yes, the best thing to do would be to go turbo, the guy wants to do something no one has done before, i mean dang, no one thought foose was gonna take his 4.8 as deep into the 10s as he has but he did. I think we should all be getting ready for a new 5.3 record personally

If you were going turbo id say yes but i dont think 9's on a 5.3 N2O is possible

truck is getting intake tranny stall and n2o kit right now should be out this week and make some runs with in the next couple of weeks...spending some good amount there so going to run it once it gets out see how it hooks up probly wont do that good on just cal tracks but we will see i am hopful that we could break a 10 on a small shot with out breaking a sweat...will keep u guys up dated with some vids
