I think a set of Caltracs with the bar in the lower hole would help your launch a lot. It will probaly launch and drive straighter also. Even with the spring clamps your probably still winding up the springs some.

Question, what are you using for a boost controller, and nitrous controller? I am currently developing a turbo for my 4.8L No where near your power, but I want to out run my friends 03 cobra before we TT it. But I would like to know what boost and nitrous controllers you use. I currently have an A'Pexi unit for the boost.....wanted to compare it with what you are useing, and want to do the same...low end shot of nitrous. I want to shoot it right into the impeller housing tho. I would need a controller for the nitrous to come on at low RPM's.

Nice run , that 60 ft is amazing, i bet that felt great. what octane are you running?? maybe run some 100 and add a lil timing. those traction bars wont hurt you imo. there are a few things that i think will get you into the 9;s , all i can say is youcandoit

Get those bars on there before you go back out. It's only gonna take a little more on the launch to get it in the 9's.

We are all STILL sitting around waiting for the post to happen one of these days.

spring clamps only help with wheel hop... not a major traction aid. also, i think caltracs can be played with to straighten out a launch too if your having any problems with that. thought i remembered watching your truck skip sideways on one of your old videos but it was probably on the old tires.

i have a blitz sbcid boost contoler. works prety good but expensive.

i am using, the megasquirt to control the nitrous. it works good too. not sure why you would spray into the turbo.
