hows your take off from a dead stop? you have any rev before truck moving? does it creep when you give it gas?

It doesn't creep when i give it gas at all. I haven't been able to get it to hook from a dead stop yet all it does is Ill be seeing how it handles the track with some 28" hoosiers soon though. To get it to hook decent on the street i have to feather the throttle quite a bit. If you look at my speedo vids from a roll it definitely flashes to 4000-4100rpms.

I know it brake stalls to 3000-3100rpms though

If i slam the pedal down to the floor on a dead stop it kinda just goes through 1-2-3 gear

cool luke lol i guess i should have explained myself a little better , i was wondering if you took off ( normal ) if you had any rev before you actually rolled ( move ) ...

trust me i know about not hooking on the streets from a dead stop muchless from a 40 roll or less..

well i guess it's one thing looking at a video and a other driveing but thanks for the clip luke, i found a guy on ls1 that has a yank 3600 i asked him if he knows if it's a single or multi he said that it's the one thats almost $1000 so i'm guessing multi it only as like 200miles on it and he said that it flashes like 3600-3800 on his car here his post what do you think should i jump on it?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i have a 3600 stall yank convertor for a ls1.
this convertor was cut open and cleaned and restalled and then welded shut.

rumor is yank convertors handel power but the welding around case is whats week. i had fti convertors do all the work and tig it shut. this convertor only had 200-300 miles on it when i took it out of my car.

yank makes great converters!!, since the guy had it restalled, in my own opinion its no longer a YANK converter, it now becomes someone elses work or converter which i am not familar with.. theres a few things i hate buying used and thats anything that goes into the motor or transmission unless i truly know where its coming from

i'm assuming if FTI is a reputable dealer or shop i would think the converter would be fine for ya...
