Im trying to figure out a roundabout number of a 02 5.3 ecsb in the 1/8th

High 15s low 16s would be my guess.

For referance my "06 Tahoe just ran 16.63 with traction and cold air. Stock it won't get any better then that for my truck I don't think. You should be similar weight and a few hp short of my 5.3 so you should be in the same ballpark.

Ok all I have done to mine is cai, and magnaflow where stock muffler was with dual pipes out the back and ive ran 9.80s-10.00s so im guessing what I got done helped

Im gonna guess you are 2wd?

Ive got a 5.3/4wd @ 165,000mi with CAI, dumped glasspack and 93 tune and my best 1/8 was 10.17.

My crew cab before converter and gears went a 10.54 1/8th mile in 2 wheel drive, and a 9.89 in 4 low! Everything else in sig the same.

Ive got 150,*** miles, 2wd, no tune, I run at mobile dragway and its a 600ft track instead of 660ft and the fastest ive been there was a 9.56, which would be 9.86 in a true 1/8th

Buddies 04 ECSB 2wd with 5.3l and 3:42 gears 150XXX miles with dual flowmaster, CAI, 87 Tune ran 10:10's-10:0's 1/8 mile.

I had a 2000 excab 5.3 stock besides k&n drop in filter and gutted cats 90k miles ran a 15.6 street tires dont know the 1/8 mile times though
