Tried to use the search button with no luck.
Just looking to see what some of you guys have ran with a 5.7 platform. Took the turbo off my truck and will be NA for a little while but should still run decent.
5.7 aluminium block (wheight savings woohoo!)
224/227 110lsa
Circle d 4500
243's milled
Built 60e
Cal tracs
And bogarts
What you guys think? Am i crazy thinking this thing should run a minimium of 12.50's NA!?
Started the truck up last night. Here is a little video! still needs a tune,CAI and i need to pick up the gears.

I had a 5.7 with a 232-236 cam, milled ls6 heads and a profile xt intake. and a yankss4000 stall and 4.56. It ran 12.4-12.5s and 12.2 with ported heads. Had about .2-3 left in yet I think. Note this was 2000 da, would have gone faster at a sea level track

Those are some pretty good numbers considering elevation. Im at sea level so that should help a bit and Im hoping the 4500 converter can get me deep into the 1.60"s for 60"
Best part is i just threw together parts laying around the shop to buils this motor!

Dayummm thats rolling! I woukd be very happy with low 12's
Well my dad built me a 370 in trade for my T-6 kit, then i ordere t4 hot pipes but things came up and cant afford the rest of the buikd so Im going to put the motor to the side and hace fun with parts that wete just laying around! I might hit it with a 200 shot once im satisfied with the na times.

I'm waiting for next month when I get my 4.30's and a Value Trac and hopefully I can run some good times like those mid-low 12's. My cam is a lot smaller though. Keep us posted!

Looks like 12.50s shouldnt be a problem! I think the 4500 converter and tight lsa cam is going to be the tick for some low 60" times! I also want to run 4.30's for a happy medium, currebtly running 3.42's because of the turbo setup. I will try it out just to compare!

13.3 in a rcsb on a 95* day. LS1, TR224, LTs & ORX, stock trans, TT3000 and 3.42s.
After I installed my built trans and SS4000 I know it had 12s in easy, just never made it to the track after that.
