Screws worked for me...i know the ATV guys use a product that sorta "glues" tie tire to the wheel. we use it to keep control of sidewall leaks and to keep beeds from breaking when offroad at low psi. not sure if it's strong enough to help with the force these slicks are put through but it's possibly something to look into?

i atleast feel a little better that others are having the same problem. while YB is awesome and full of info our trucks weigh 1500lbs more then most of the cars on there so i think there are some things lost when comparing the two. there is a glue, permetex high tack that will glue to rim. from my readings it works good but you still could spin on the wheel just not as much

Yeah I spin drag radials on the rims. oddly the drivers side more than the passenger side. Usually about 2 revolution per to the cord life of the tires. tired mounting with just water, bead sealer. no real change,
thinking next time I will scrub down the tire bead with something before taking them to get mounted. archfool, degrease, tsp i don't know
That sort of slick mold release stubstance thats on new tires is about all I can think of that causing it at this point.
On street tires they spin a little for maybe 6 months then finally hold.
I swapped the fronts on the back and did a few burnouts and hard launches and they didn't move a bit, but they also had been on the rims for well over 6 months
(and were not even mounted with bead sealer)

figured id do a follow up with this. i took the tires off, cleaned everything up good, put the tubes in and 16 screws per side. id highly recommend tubes to those who have any stability problems. it felt a ton better at 13psi then it was before at 16. i did everything at home. bought 2 24" curved tire spoons, wasnt to bad at all. i dont think id ever bring slicks somewhere to be mounted again.
