I can't find any pics of Jim's cage on his site. Slowprocess's isn't NHRA legal (I don't think.) Just curious to see how intrusive it is. Is it a pain in the *** to get in and out of? (keep in mind I'm almost 300lbs.)
I reall don't wanna loose my tonneau cover and go to a lexan rear window, but I guess I might have to. We'll see how it runs in the summer months. I think Saturday was a fluke.

I'm like you, but I just can't bring myself to have to do the rear bars and also loose my bed cover. I don't think the track that I go to will say much about it, but it is nice to have when your running that fast.

Gainesville will DEFINITELY have something to say about it. They are real sticklers around there. But it's good, because at those speeds you really DO need the safety equipment. I'm just not sure what the rear bars help in a RCSB pickup truck, but whatever they say!

I will probably neve do the rear bars, unless there is a legit way to go under the rear glass. I don't want the truck to look like a 4x4 with a rollbar in the back, so I'll probably just stay away from the big time tracks.

Scream,
If you do decide to have it done, unless you have someone in mind over in Jax, I'd recommend a guy in Ocala that did mine. Next time you're at Gainesville look me up and I'll show you mine. He did a great job and it wasn't that bad on cost.

Are you getting a pre-made Lexan/Acrylite window, or having one made? I've found at least one place that offers an Acrylite window for a decent price...PM me for more info.
