Are you getting a pre-made Lexan/Acrylite window, or having one made? I've found at least one place that offers an Acrylite window for a decent price...PM me for more info.
Dennis at DMC Racing has a guy that makes them for him. DMC does some sick cars. They do all the cage and some suspension work on Manny Buginga's NMRA SSO car. Manny is the number one racer in that class and he is running fast than anyone has ever ran in the class. Dennis is also building a car for Don Kinder (aka Slowhawk) He did my brother cage too. His work is top notch.
As for my tonneau cover, I am going to sell the fiberglass one and have a soft on made that will form around the bars. It will have zipper or velcro so you can still roll it up to get into the bed.

Damb the weather has to get better around here. I am diein to drive my truck

Everyone's telling me that I shouldn't put a cage in it, but deep down I really want to. I mean, how often do you see a full size truck w/ a cage in it?!

I'm not sure about IHRA, but NHRA is 11.49 or quicker.

Don't confuse RollCAGE and RollBAR.
A 5-point rollbar is needed at 11.49 and quicker NHRa and 11.99 and quicker IHRA (unless IHRA changed their rules back this year).
A Rollcage is needed at 9.99 and/or 135 mph or quicker, or 10.99 unless floor frame and firewall are unaltered (allowed to mini-tub or tub rear wheelhouses).

On the New England Dragway website they have in thier IHRA rules that you need a roll bar when going 11.49-10.00. That has been that way for atleast 3 years now, because three years ago is when my brother got kicked out for running 11.3 with out a roll bar.

It's still the downbars that have to go to the rear axle that bother me. I don't wanna cut up the back of the cab or have holes in a lexan window. I wish that you could just run the stuff inside the cab and make a cage w/o the downbars, if that makes sense. It seems that would be plenty strong enough to be safe in a truck, but I guess not.

Yes I know this what I hated doing in the twin turbo S-10. You have to do it though if you want to run fast at the track. They do not like it when you go 10.64 with a seatbelt and a helmet.
