Default anyone running MT 255/50R16 Drag Radials?

thinking of running these instead of the M & H Racemasters 275/55R16's on my stock wheels...found them in stock local...about $20ea less than the Racemasters...should fit as well as if not better...

The M+H will work fine on a 8 inch wheel at 12-15 psi
That's what I am using
Remember what the smaller tire will do to the rear ratio-It may be a concern.

ive got mine mounted on a set of 8" wheels and they are working well for me. They dont require much of a burnout for me to hook hard off the line.

Edit: I first mounted them on my stock wheels and found that they bulged out too much for my liking. On an 8" wheel you get a much better contact patch.

I have had a set on 8" rims that i run about 8 to 10 times per year. I just put them on drive 50 miles round trip to track 4 to 6 runs per. Ive used them since 2004 run 32 psi. with that press they roll good and hook AND when they wear out ill get another set.I got mine on line for 300.00 inc shipping. just my opnion. 2004RCLB. 5.3 P.R. I know where you are coming from. Im running my 16" MT's with 20" fronts. Needless to say my truck has just a little bit of rake to it

I couldn't stand the look of the 16 with the 20's up front.
So I scored a New set of 16x8 Forged Billet Centerlines on E Play and put 215/70/16 on the front.
Now it has the drag look -pizza cutter front fat back and hooks hard.Bonus was took of some weight!
