Default Back from Valdosta....new PB!

Not by much though.

First off, NICE track. Hooked very well considering the temps. I'm tired, so I'll get to the point...

Good and bad news. Truck went it's best ever:

0060' 1.754
0330' 4.832
0660' 7.393
MPH-- 96.48

1000' 9.637
1320' 11.549
MPH-- 116.76

Bad news....truck felt like it was picking up a miss all day. Couldn't tell if it was just me being nervous about being so far from home w/ no trailer, or if there was really something wrong. After the last pass the truck is definitely missing, and the oil pressure started doing some weird things, although that seems to have straightened itself out. I'm almost sure it hurt a plug, I just hope it didn't damage the piston in the process. I'll know Monday when I can get some plugs and change them out.

well holy hell congrats!!! I don't know though...maybe a time slip would make me feel better about giving congrats! LOL j/k'ing.

I know when I get past my 50 to 75 mile comfort zone I start hearing ****, evening feel slipping that isn't there. hypocondriac (sp?) symptems. LOL MIR is an hour and half from my house. My miss and slipping got less and less as I got closer to home. Pull in my driveway and the truck ran like a champ!

great ET

it's strange...you dropped 2mph? That may indicate a slight loss in HP somewhere?

Valdosta actually preps their track! The temps were up, but the humidity was down, so it was a comprimise. I went down to Gainesville last Sat night and people were having trouble hooking on the BIG END of the track. It's a zoo and it's not prepped, so I'd rather drive another 1/2 hour and get a less busy and better prepped track.

There was a bit of a headwind, so I'm hoping it was that.
