Default ***** to the wall for SAR meet

My truck is running again and I want to make sure I hit a 10 sec pass on nitrous and 11 sec pass on motor. Changes from the 11.27 pass include re-stall from 3000 to 4000, 11.0 compression from 10.5, 28" hoosier on 8 rim to 29" on 10" rim, and the Fast 90/90 swap with 150 wet and 50 dry shot out the hole if it hooks. I also need to know what to remove for weight I have already removed backseat, spare, front sway bar, installed roll pan and that's it. What else should I remove? What timing can I do if I add alittle racegas, what rpm should I shift at considering it doesn't stop pulling at my 6400 shift point, and when to lock converter?

i would shift it at 6900 1-2....6700 2-3....and lock your converter at 87mph or so..
whats your initial timing for motor and how much are you pulling out for the Nos??
is converter a single or 3 disk??

I believe timing varies from 24-27 degrees on nitrous with no knock, my conveter is a PI tripple disk. Thanks for your input Flaco.

Manny, the new wheel/tire and stall alone would get you what your wanting! That thing is gonna be a beast now! As far as weight, you've taken everything out that I would have. Besides the front passenger seat! Also, get under the truck and take off all of the heat shields, and hitch if you have one. Don't worry man, your 10sec pass WILL happen at SAR. Good luck man.....

Austin

PM sent by the way.....

in my opinion peeking 27 is a little to much ...i would lock it at 24 from 3500 to redline...remember not just because you run higher timing means it will perform better, it means the cylinder will get hotter..u running tr-6 correct.. i would gap them .030...also you running 4.10? i would lock converter as soon as it shifts to 3rd gear...let it go 5 mph after 3rd then lock... did u run the truck on dyno only with NOS..if so on a full load it differs when on the gas, especially on 3rd gear with 27*...just my .02
Good Luck

Allen still does my tuning but I won't have time to get a good street tune till after the meet. I barely asked him for a mail order yesterday so I'm sure he'll hook me up but just asking for opinions on my setup mainly.
