Balls to the wall for SAR meet

in my opinion peeking 27 is a little to much ...i would lock it at 24 from 3500 to redline...remember not just because you run higher timing means it will perform better, it means the cylinder will get hotter..u running tr-6 correct.. i would gap them .030...also you running 4.10? i would lock converter as soon as it shifts to 3rd gear...let it go 5 mph after 3rd then lock... did u run the truck on dyno only with NOS..if so on a full load it differs when on the gas, especially on 3rd gear with 27*...just my .02

Manny, the new wheel/tire and stall alone would get you what your wanting! That thing is gonna be a beast now! As far as weight, you've taken everything out that I would have. Besides the front passenger seat! Also, get under the truck and take off all of the heat shields, and hitch if you have one. Don't worry man, your 10sec pass WILL happen at SAR. Good luck man.....

Almost forgot about a fueling issue that needs fixing. I recently installed a 255 walboro inline in addition to intank and now my fuel pressure is dropping from 60 psi idle to 58 psi wot. Before it would hold 60 psi NA and only drop with nitrous use, havent checked it on Nitrous yet. Since the intank is older I'm thinking it's not pushing as hard as the inline. Or am I just being too cautious and 2 psi drop is nothing to worry about?

on race fuel since the burn rate is faster you have to add a certain % of fuel across the board

On race fuel you should be able to run 27 degrees with around 24 at torque peak as long as you keep the AFR to around mid to high 11's. I would shift at 6700/6600 and lock the converter at around 110. You should be trapping well into the 120's.
