I found this in the new Jegs catalog and thought that it might possibly help with traction at the track? I know adding weight seems like a bad idea but I am thinking it could actually help? If it wont help at the track then it will definetly help traction during the winter. Let me know what you think.

How much does your truck weigh at the track? My truck with me in it and without any weight reductions weighs 4660.

On your 12.5 run, didn't it weigh around 3700...3800's range with diet? I am curious to know the difference on a straight bed to a sport side bed.....mine weighed 3710 by itself and 3850 with me in it with the following diet: no sway bar, no tailgate, no back bumper, and no middle console. That's how I have it right now....of course with the tailgate on the streets. For my winter timeslips, I want to take the passenger seat out of there too to see how much lower it goes....it feels like 70 pounds there.

I would love for my truck to weigh 3800 pounds! My truck weighs 4660 with me and no weight reductions. If 100 pounds truly does equal 1/10 then I would be in the 11's. I heard that Sportside beds weigh more than Fleetside beds, It doesnt seem right but thats what I heard.
