Thank you. I used to have a yellow 02 4.8L that looked alot like yours. Thats where the STOCK48 came from. Looking at your truck makes me miss it. I was going to build it, but had to sell it last year to help with the down on my house. Does yours have the yellow steering wheel?

Actually believe it or not I built the whole truck in about 3 weeks. I had the engine allready, I had it in my old 2000z71, when I sold it I put the 5.3 back in. I also had the 4l80E, I had planed on putting this setup on the yellow truck. I didn't want to sell yellow, but I had a cash buyer, needed it for the home loan to get approved. I bought the 03 about 4 months later, sight un seen. I sent my Dad to go pick it up out in Ca. The truck sat out in Ca for 4 mos before I even actually saw it.

I wish I could at least get my parts in less then 3 weeks but nope, at the moment Im waiting for the cage and race seats install and also for my trans to come back from FLT, Im getting new converter, 3400 stall just like yours, I had a 2800 stall. By looking at your setup Im glad I went with it. Well good luck and I hope you get better times next time.

Yep, sure do!
The reason i ask is you might want to try that before upping the stall JJ, or is it too late lol!
Im shooting you a PM now

That 2800 stall with a trans break and 2step leaving @ 5-6lbs would be insane!

It took alot of serious planning. I was out in Ca for 3 weeks after my wedding. I think you will be really happy with the yank, at first I thought it was way too loose, but I was out of time and had to get back hear to Co. I figured I would give it a chance, and Im glad I did. The lock up clutch isn't all that great, I have about smoked it, but the converter mutiplys torque like a mother. When my truck hooks a 3500K 8PSI launch on the street it pulls so hard you can feel it in you stomache. If those big tires will hook that you will have a savage on your hands. Just be careful about WOT lockup because you will smoke it.
