Speaking of transmissions, mine broke the output shaft today and grenaded the case and all. Driving to work this morning and decided to floor it, bang, its dead.Twice now Ive broke these things and bothe were not at the track, bothe were nbs 07 trans with no miles on them at all......less then 10,000.

Dude, that just sux !! You need to beef those tranny's up. I am currently having to change the pump in my 4L60.

The 29.5" tire is way too tall for your truck in my opinion. I run the 25.5" ET Street Radial as well as the 28" Hoosier slick on a 410 gear. My eighth mile is 7.0 on the small tires and 7.2 on the taller. ET was only a thousandth difference.

I found a 4l80 out of an 03 with less then a 1,000 miles on it. Priced high, but its low milage.

Go with the 80e. The swap appears to be so easy on a 2wd.

I have a guy that works for LKQ, he gets me my parts at a very reasonable discount vs what they show on their web site. I guess havig a shop account with them since they have been around helps to.

How much timing are you seeing below 4000? If your setup is de-tuned for the spray and you aren't spraying at the bottom it could just be light on the timing.

Do you purge before using nitrous? It sounds like a good purge might help your shot hit on the first try.
