Diagnose my Timeslip..... Help Needed Inside
Took the truck to HRP tonight w/ hopes of hitting a 14.xx at 90+ mph after the camswap. Ran a new personal best, but only reached half of my goal....... (timeslip below). Also cut .065 R/T on my second pass, but that run netted me a slower E/T and MPH.
Mods to date:
-05' RCSB 4.8/Auto
-Comp 206/212 on a 112 lsa
-Volant CAI, Shaner Ported TB, 180 T-Stat, Corsa Catback, Wheatley Tune
-Eaton w/ 3.73's
-Corvette Servo
Previous Best before cam, servo, and retune:
R/T ... .379
60' ... 2.375
330 ... 6.546
1/8 ... 9.991
MPH ... 71.97
1000 ... 12.925
1/4 ... 15.41
MPH ... 89.90
New Best w/ Cam/Retune:
R/T ... .380
60' ... 2.371
330 ... 6.470
1/8 ... 9.807
MPH ... 74.33
1000 ... 12.653
1/4 ... 15.035
MPH ... 94.67
.4 faster 4.77 mph improvement w/ just the camswap, not bad considering the size of the cam just seems like there should be more in it.
MPH seems like it should be good for a mid 14 sec pass, but Im a solid .5 sec away. I realize my 60' sucks which I can attribute to the stock convertor, but what gives? Is a lack of a convertor my only issue here? I'm sure LT's wouldnt hurt either, but my ET should be better IMO.
Let me know what guys think, any help is appreciated...

You have the trap speed, but you're lacking a good bit in your 60', like you've already noticed, and your 1/8th E.T. is a little on the slowish side. A good stall should drop you around 3 tenths if you can hook and the LT's will help your mid range pull a good bit.

-So the general concensus is the lack of convertor? What should my MPH be good for ET wise?
