You'll deffinitly want a 3000 or more.

It is def on the to-do list, I just was hoping I could get more out of it on the stock convertor. Really don't think it is possible w/ the 4.8 tho, even when it was stock it could have benefitted from more convertor. I didn't realize I would pick up more MPH in addition to the drop in ET either, makes sense tho.

I did see you there but not run.. My mph was close to yours but my truck was not shifting to 3rd when I wanted it too.. Your truck was clean btw..

You need a converter. I dropped .9 in the 1/8th after my converter swap

I ran right at a 9.8 in my ec 4.8. It used to run around a 10.2 and a built tranny took me up four tenths. my 60's were always around a 2.2.

I would go with something around a 3k stall.

if you dont want to do a stall, just do my ram air setup to get you that 14 slip

slvrsierra4.8 do you have the corsa exhause, only reason i ask is because i was in line right next to a truck that looked just like yours. I was in nnbs blacked out 4 door

Damn, .9 improvement in the 1/8th is impressive. I realized I was holding it back w/ the stock convertor, just didn't realize how much....

Yea that was me, that is a clean truck man. Looks great on the black OEM 20's. Didn't see you guys the whole time I was out there until we were in staging, would have stopped by and said whats up. Def had enough time to thanks to all the drag cars that kept smacking the walls half track.
