A stall would help you more than anything. One of my friends has an 04 gmc with a 4.8. I programed it with efilive and he has cold air intake, headers, 411 gears, and a 3000 stall. Im not sure his 1/8th time, but he had a 2.0 60ft and ran a 12.12 in the 1000ft.

Those are some impressive times for your mods man. I think mine has more in it, but just needs a convertor to get there. My mph is about where it should be, just not my ET

the stuff in red is not allways true, I know alot of valley guys that come up here and run slower, its all about the DA

I have a bone stock 4.8 ecsb full weight 3.73 with tool box running 15.6 at 92 mph with just my tune, have charlie look it over, what gears do you have

3.73's w/ an aftermarket Eaton posi. If you are seeing that kind of MPH out of an essentially stock ECSB than something is def ary w/ my setup. That or it is just a turd from the factory? Appreciate the input......have already contacted Wheatley, hope to get some feedback soon

See anything else I am missing here?

what cam did you go with? the converter will help alot.

went back and looked, that cam shouldn't need a stall, hell I picked up 3/10's with a 198/208 500 500 115.5 cam alone with my setup along time ago without tune and stock converter.

but I did have an old 4.8 with k/n intake,4.10's,eaton posi,nelson tune,elect. fans,u/d pulley,shorty headers,exhaust and only ran a 14.9 at 92 mph ahhhaaa
