Default Dmax vs lq9?

Who would win? I have a cousin he is in another state with a dmax I got he lq9 just curios what wld happen when I go Down there.

My 99 rcsb silverado lq9, 221/223 115 cam, lt headers, 3200 ss yank stall, k&n cai, shift kit, vet servo , trutrack , 4.10 gears, dyno tuned, e- fans

His 2010 dmax h&s programmer, straight pipped that's all lol maybe nitrous I have it to not sure if we will use it

I held off a 550hp Dmax till 100km/h then he came up on me pretty hard
so from a dig you should do alright

You have everything going for you, being modded and a fairly light truck. Depends on what programing he has done I think you will have a hell of a race on your hands.

I don't see any reason at all why you shouldnt beat him fairly easily. With those mods you run mid 12's I would think. I dont see too many tune only diesels running that fast. You will take him on the big end real easy, but leaving the line under boost in a truck like that and rifling through the first 3 or 4 gears they are pretty insane through the 1/8 mile.

I think if he was efi live and a lift pump you should be worried (12s for sure) but with your mods and his you get the win. My Dmax is bone stock except for the ppe 160 tune. I surprise alot of cars

Yea I know what you mean I've seen some really quick Dmax out there he used to own a 08 twin turbo f250 and that thing was fast I'm just curious how this one does lol I shall be practicing my launching for sure
