Try to run him from a stop and not burn your tires off on my dmax its slow out of the hole and if you turbo boost it its super hard to put power to the ground unless he uses 4wd in his case if its stock might be a bad idea

LOL @^^^^^ DMax is far from slow out of the hole and a 4wd launch is not a big deal as long as the guys isnt running larger than 33's. Depending on what he has with the H&S settings and if its a custom tune with it and if it has nitrous it is more than likely a 12 sec truck but as stated he will be running out of fuel without a lift pump. Race and and let us know.

Ive got a 2003 with quite a bit of stuff done to it with 265/75/16s and have launched in 4wd a couple times and you can feel the front end mainly the tie rods bend and whobble from the tourqe.

The cp3s on dmaxs are pretty ******* good pumps. I dont think he starve it for fuel at all.. If its got a good tune and he knows how to drive ot it would surprise you. Especially with the nitrous. But if its just a 170hp tune with stock everything else id run him however he wants to start. Stopped from a roll whatever. Some of those trucls are nasty from a dig because the turbo is already spooling. And if 4wd even from a stop he should ne able to leave the line holding at least 15-20lbs.

I was thinking of doing a head swap and intake but it seems like its alot for that would a budget turbo be more bang for my buck or would I need to eventually change heads and stuff?
