Yea true... maybe it just wasnt your night... try again next time..
What tires and what pressure you running?

On my Toyos with 40psi my first pass was a 14.98 which supprised me, considering i was in full street trim and and stock Engine tune... Just tranny settings. and last year i ran a 14.92 with weight reduction.

Im fixin to finish up my Auto Ve tune and when the injectors get here ill put them in and the STS.... Good luck to ya bro. Hopefully ill be faster than you pretty soon.

You and me both. (I need a smilie driving a BRICK) I would get someone to log anyway, every truck is different and with logs I bet Nelson could tweak you up

What do yall mean by getting someone to log my truck? Does this mean to have someone record my runs through some software, and then send allen the recordings.

you are doing pretty good for an ecsb. withe the same mods as you before the 4:10's i was running almost identical times. it dropped over .5 second after the gears. i was also getting consistant 1.19-1.18 60'. 2.2 with a stock stall is about right for an ecsb

let me make you feel better

I ran the truck stock and went 15.56@87mph

then added headers,asp pulley,elect fans,k/n fipk,bbk t/b,exhaust and ran 15.19@89mph all the money I spent on the goods were only good for 3/10's maybe 4/10's

Now the bad news for ya, with the nelson tune I went from the 15.19@89 to 14.6@93. Money well spent there.

I had brought my truck before i did my mods last winter and i ran a best time of 15.094 with a cold air intake and a magnaflow muffler. Well now i have went ahead and installed some lt's, ory, ls1 fans, billet servo, and i got a nelson tune. Unfortunately my best time last night was a 14.677 . I do not think that is too impresive for the mods i have done. The wheather was not as good as it was when i ran it before the mods, but the wheather was still fairly good last night. Also my 60' times did not pick up hardly at all! Does this seem normal or not. I did not spin before at the track and i do not spin now so traction is not an issue. These are my numbers before and after my mods.

Before mods: After mods:
60'= 2.254 60'=2.247
330= 6.360 330=6.262
1/8=9.763 1/8=9.528
1/4=15.094 1/4=14.677
MPH=91.67 MPH=94.64

I do not understand this and any comment would be greatly appreciated!!!

I drive the same truck (not sure if your's is a Z71 - mine is...) and with the mods you see in my sig I ran a best of 15.08. Only difference was I had the Fuddle 3000 converter. I switched to the Yank 2600 and ran a best of 14.87.

I know when you look at the number of changes you make, you expect more results. But a servo and e-fans won't make much of a difference in the 1/4. And most (I'm saying most, not all) of the gains from long tube headers are going to be mid to top end. There are differing thoughts, but some sources say long tubes actually result in a loss of low-end torque. That's why they developed Tri-Y headers years ago to help with torque.

Remember too, your truck weighs right at 5,000 pounds (my race weight, with me in the truck, is 5,150). That's a lot of weight to get moving - and you have a stock converter and cam. You'll see some very good results if you upgrade those two items. Also, my 60' times aren't much better than yours and I have a 2600 converter. Reason being is now I have more torque and now I have traction issues. But the converter helps during the whole run, not just off the line, so it's worth it.

Just a P.S. - those times I listed were with a weak fuel pump. It's supposed to deliver about 58 PSI and mine delivers at about 48 under load. So I know my truck can make better times. But I think you're running pretty good with what you have.

I think that is a pretty good drop, considering the mods you have over the old time and the temp being differnt. The only thing that helped out in the time was really the tune, not the fans so much or the servo.
