I can watch the tree in this video how you pre stage then wait for other car to pre stage then just move a little to stage. Go on last yellow

Just try to stay out of the water best you can.. 4WD is nice for the track

Make sure you outrun a mustang or something, haha..

I'm N/A, but I think if you're going to launch in 4HI you really need to stay out of the water. I go around it, get straightened up, pop it into 4HI, and then pull forward to stage. I like to go back to 2HI after the shift to second, but not everybody does that.

^^This. I tried 2wd when the truck was stock and was feathering the gas all the way past the 60'.

Yup. Lots of guys launch in 4x4. When I was NA I would switch back after the 1-2 shift, haven't tried it since all the new mods. The 3 passes I have made so far I just kept it in 4x4 the whole pass.

here was my last time out. This is not what I intended to use this video for (hence the title and why my truck is in the shop). But it shows you a pretty good start to finish. I already went through tech and was parked in the pit area when I started filming. Also didn't go around water box, might try that next time. Half the time they spray the whole lane so couldn't avoid it if I tried.

If they don't spin on the street they definitely won't at the track. The starting line is so sticky it'll pull the shoes off your feet.

LOL. Was a habit I started from the get go. Every little bit helps.

I would still do a quick couple second one. You are just getting the dirt and grime off the tires, not trying to heat them up since you are on street tires.

Depends on the prep. I hook better on the streets than the track. I guarantee in 2WD you will be in and out of the gas for half the track. You can give it a try but you won't get anywhere.

This is my truck when it was CAI, Exhaust and a tune only trying 2WD. Now add hundreds more HP on top of that..
