Depends what youre going from. From a 31" all terrain to a 26" DR. I went .5 better. From a 28" slick to a DR Ill have to let you know.
A lot depends on what kind of traction issues you have now, what the overal diameter change will be, and what weight changes will be. Going from a 75/55 20 to a 255/50 16 (dr) will give you a pretty good gain. If you have the stock 16's you wont gain as much

Pretty much same size tire only difference is 275/60/15 is what is on there now and the drag radial is 275/50/15. I was just looking for maybe a .1 or so every little bit helps.

It would probably help you out quite a bit. The Mickey Thompson radials would probably be your best bet. I am about to try some in that size on my 90 SS. My only mod was removed cat and a magnaflow muffler, and I wouldn't get any traction. Going to try them on the stock steel wheels with factory G80 limited slip. If they don't work out, I will get 10" rims and try to fit a wider tire.

You should get that .1 you're wanting. Its a slightly smaller tire, and will hook a little better. If you can get your 60' down a little you'll defiantly get your .1 in the 1/4. My bet is you would benefit more from a little suspension work though
