Ok, truck is getting tuned for the cam real soon. extended SHIFT points, increased rev limiters, increased top speed limiter, removal of torque management, and fuel maps adjusted for the cam. I also have the edge racing 2800 stall converter going in next week and the transgo reprogramming kit going in today. My previous best was a 14.3 going in to the wind and shifting at 5750 hitting the rev limiter and running really rich. What is everyones estimate on my new 1/4 mile times. I think 13.7 is very achievable. Here are my current numbers.
60: 2.08
330: 5.88
1/8: 9.10
mph: 75.11
1000: 11.958
1/4: 14.39
mph: 92.69
I will also be using some 26 inch slicks that will allow me to cross the traps at 5500 instead of 4500. The cam i am using makes all of its power above 4500 which is why my et is better than my mph.

would u say the mph is low in the 1/8 mile also. I know I am not hitting my power band in third gear but I am in first and second, so I think i am accelerating good until 3rd gear when it falls on its face.

I'm assuming you have the 5.7 hemi. I had a Quadcab 4x2 like yours w/ 20's and weghed in at 4960lbs with no spare, tailgate, and 1/4 tank gas.
Also try and research the front inside grill covers as it helps the wind resistance. I didn't race mine much, but that big open front really digs into the wind and that alone limited my trap speeds to 87 to 88 mph. even running high 14.90's could never break 89.
I agree, 13.70's possible. Maybe 13.80's. Get some weight off! G/L

I hit 74mph in the 1/8 with mine with minimal mods (muffler), weight reduction, and very good air. I think it was a 9.48 ET 1/8, pretty sure.
