makes sense.....that is probably why the dude is selling it then....wont cert....I saw it and thought it looks fishy....but I thought that i would ask around....
funny car cage with the wrap around....that would make ME look twice at a truck on the street...if I had one I would just tell people that it had a "tornado" on it and some Z-max in it.....ha ha!

Garrett had this type of setup in the turbo S10 he had. Flaco bought it and I don't know where it is now. He had several cross bars and extra lacing added to the down bars and never had an issue with tech. Went 8.20's with this style cage.

It's for like $20K over on racing junk in the drag truck for sale section it's a full truck motor trans, rear. It's got a few pics of it as a show truck too.....

That cage is illegal and will not cert. To do the bars through the rear and not window the main cage needs to be a 25.1, 25.3 or 25.4 chassis. Looking at the picture not near enough bars to be any of those chassis's. Look at suncoast race cars. They make a chassis that will cert like the one in the S-10. I just happened to have bought the suncoast SFI 25.1 cert chassis from them. Should have it in 3-4 weeks.
