they shoulda done away with it back in 2000.
I was going to build a bigger motor and decided this one is fast enough

Not trying to be a dick or anything... but I'm not sure why someone would want to put money in to a 4.8 for the "4.8 NA record"???
Why not spend just as much and do a 6.0 swap and go just as fast with more potential?
And what's with all the record threads LOL... We should make a sticky for each in the drag racing section and keep all the record passes and discussion in there.

I Guess you can have the record if you want it. I think 1Slow01z71 add it up and if you had a record for every different truck configuration (rc,xcab,cc,sb,lb,4.8,5.3,6,2wd,4wd,fi,no2,na,ect. ) There was well over a 100 configurations. So going for a specific record really is only bragging right to yourself
