Default Fastest stock HD in the land

took the ol daily driver to the track last night. I have to say the most boring thing that i have ever raced. While going down the track i had time to answer my onstar and tell the people they had the wrong number. It ran a 17.30 @ 80 with like a 2.60 60'. The truck is a stock 2wd crew cab 6.0. Does that sound about right to everyone or do i just have the turdest truck ever?

Seems about right, for what i've seen at the track. Sounds like a good platform to start with $$ Welcome to PT.net. Stick around a bit, your truck will be fast, your pockets empty.

Stock diesels are pretty much all slow. Welcome to that wonderful club. Of course, they'll pull like crazy and almost always get better fuel economy than gas engines, so its all good.

If only it was a diesel. Its just the tow vehicle, but its defantly getting headers full exhaust, and maybe a small cam.

I am pretty sure he was using sarcasm...note 'the most boring thing that I have ever raced' and 'I had time to answer my on-star and tell the people they had the wrong number' so just cool your horses there chuckie...
