Have you thought about adding the timeslip database mod for vBulletin? I'm running it on my site for a few months now and I haven't had any problems. People are able to add/update their info on the fly whenever they want. The only shortcoming I've seen thus far is each user can only put in one entry, if you have more than one truck you need to have separate forum users.

Although it's true that users could potentially post fake data, the information is stored as part of the user's profile information and can be edited/deleted by any moderator with access to the forum control panel, and dorks who repeatedly post fake information can be blocked from the database.

I think that is what will be used actually, just has to be setup and I don't have access to it. The main server admin dude "Brains" will be setting it up after he gets the server running where it's happy.

Trust me...his truck ain't no slouch. There was quite an infamous night at our local hangout a couple of years ago when he got the SOHC motor in...I called him out, and got spanked from a dig AND from a roll. His truck is definitely a sleeper.
