don't know elevation, Skyview drags in Owego NY, i'll have to look it up.

at 4400 lbs with driver I think it should be faster, yes
I honestly do not remember the jet size...my runs were done at sea level, that is why I was asking...I think if you are hooking and switched to a 50 dry shot, it would help you get out of the hole alot quicker...

i know i built my truck for an all around truck. i dont care what the 1/8th does...id rather have a higher MPH over an E.T. i find that your MPH is what wins you races over "i run 12.99s at 103/104" id rather run a 13.0 at 105 bc its a beast and hard as hell to catch...ask me how i know!
races are won on the light and in the first 60'. maybe from the ricer roll you would want as much top end as possible, but if you can cut a tenth from you 60', you cut almost 2/10 at the 1/4.

we can both cut the same light and trap the same mph, but if i have a 1.5 60' and you have a 2.2 60', you will end the race OVER a full second behind even though the difference between our 60' times is 7/10 of a second.

Not trying to be a dick but you really should stop posting about racing until you really know what youre talking about. its painfully obvious in your posts here lately that you dont have a clue.

To the OP, how much boost are you leaving on? Your 60' time is pfairly decent but could probably benefit more from a bit shorter tire.

I totally agree. The 4.11 is just fine, but the 29" tire is alot for what you want to do. If you only want to run 1/8' mile than you may want more gear, but I'd say keep the gear, go to a 28" tire, and go to a 2 bar speed density. The converter is a bit looser than it needs to be also, make sure you're locking it in 2nd and 3rd.

I will also agree that you should be a bit faster with that set up. I would first go with a shorter slick, 26 or 28 even, instead of swapping gears. I know that if i used a shorter slick, I would def pull a better 1/4, and prob 60 also, as I come through the traps about 5500, on a 28'' slick and would come through about 6k with the 26.. I am locking my converter about 100 mph in third also.. As for mph more, a slower et, thats is redick.. The first half of the track is where the race is one..
