Will be ordering a PI triple disc 4k tomorrow and having 4:10 gears installed hopefully next week.

nice run! thats a helluva 1/8 with that 60'. its yanking hard down low! im curious about the top end. gears and a bigger converter arent guna help up top either. i would have expected it to be the other way around with the cam you have.

how were you launching the converter? my converter is really tight but still seem to work. i can only brake stall to about 2500 rpm. maybe the gears will put everything where it belongs on the 60' for you. congrats on the new best!

tried it only once at 2000 rpm's and once at idle, ( 925 rpms ), so you saying try the gears first before stall?, true on cam, e-mailed patrick on his thoughts, waiting on outcome.

seems like your converter acts like stews and mine? i would definately try the gears first, and see where you stand, if that still aint cutting it, do that 4k converter! that way you'll see what you are gaining from your mods... your 1/8 is pretty much the same as mine but my 60' is better, looks like yours picks up real quick after the 60'!!... looks weird how your mph is faster on your slower run than your quickest? its all a learning process! how did you like them hoosiers?

its up to you. i didnt gain much at all switching from 3.73 to 4.10. if you decide to keep the converter a little longer try launching it from about 12-1400 rpm and let it rip. maybe look into the tune on the top end? you have the cam for it and your top end definately should flow enough.
