Finally got the truck out on the track
Took the truck to the track a few weeks ago. Best pass was a
9.4 at 75 mph with a 2.23 60ft.
Kind of dissapointed with it though. Im trying to get a copy og my tune to see what you guys think of it.
Mods are
Tr224 cam
yankTT3000
Long tubes
electric fans
UD pulley
4:56 gears
I felt like there was some wheel spin through first gear but the 60ft times were pretty consistant and ran a few 9.5s.
Ran a single cab new hemi R/T and a 4 door 2wd ecoboost, mods unkown.
Heres the slips and a few videos:
I'd say I lost on this one..
I like this pic
This was May 5 around 8-10pm zip 76201 for the DA (dont know what else you need) if anyone wants to figure out a corrected time for me

Yeah I'm trying to get my hands on set of slicks. Its shifting into 3rd about 150ft or so before I cross the line. I don't know whether to go with a taller slick or shorter. Im running a 28" tall tire now.

Bumping this back up because I got some questions.
With it trapping 75mph do you think that is average for a 9.4-9.5 run? If not what e.t. Should I see?
I used my g-tach app to do a 1/4 mile run and it timed me at 14.89 @ 105. I'm not putting a lot of faith in this thing being that accurate, but that's almost on par with my runs at the track. It was also over 100 degrees outside, so the results don't seem to far off.
I'm trying to get a copy of my tune to see what y'all think about that. I have it shifting at 6500 in tow haul with almost all tq management removed.

Mine ran pretty similar man, basically same setup except mines a ccsb. Here's my slip, and I KNOW mine has a bit more in it because in January I went 15.1 before the cam/converter, and while my truck was lifted on 33s. Last week I only went 14.6 after dropping the truck, adding cam/converter, and pulling a good bit of weight out.. BUT it was over 90* out last week when I ran it compared to the much cooler weather in Jan. I'd wait for the cooler weather and run it again, I bet you're in the 8s or damn close to it. Mine better be
5.3/60e
Texas Speed 224/224
Circle D 3200
Lpp long tubes, e cutout open
electric fans (factory)
Stock pulley
3.73s
I know you're on 275/40s, I'm on 275/45s

Well that makes me feel a little better at least. I was really expecting a high 8, maybe mid 8 with slicks. It was in march when I ran it, so prob mid 80s out. I know a looser stall would have helped, I wish I would have bought one but I already had this one and didn't want to buy a new one.

My ext cab 4.8. Wheatley tune, longtubes, K&N, 26" street tires. No spare, no tailgate, no rear seat, 3.42s and a peg leg, steel rollpan instead of bumper, spinning some on the start, real bad headwinds.
Truck went 15.1 at full street weight on heavy tahoe 20s and no longtubes. Best it has gone was 14.4 in very cold temps with great track prep. Feels much faster now with 3.73s and a locker, but I havent been back to the track because of trans issues.

Great Little Tools here...
DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com
NHRA Elevation Correction Factors - SMOKEmUP.com
1/8th to 1/4 Conversion Table.
DA would have been around 2100 at the time of the run.
Your best pass of 9.4 @ 75 mph Sea Level Corrected shows to be 9.17 @ 76.9 mph.
Estimated 1/8th mile to 1/4 mile conversion:
9.4 = 14.66
9.17 = 14.27
Get the 60' down! Try a pair of 28" Slicks and let us know the results. It doesn't look like you had much wheel spin, but it's hard to tell from the video. Plenty of gear and converter to get that big girl moving.
