Truck went 15.1 at full street weight on heavy tahoe 20s and no longtubes. Best it has gone was 14.4 in very cold temps with great track prep. Feels much faster now with 3.73s and a locker, but I havent been back to the track because of trans issues.
That doesn't make me feel so good anymore haha. You have a strong little 4.8 that's for sure. Seeing trucks like yours running the same times as my cammed/bolted/stalled/geared 5.3 makes me think something is wrong with my truck.

1/8th to 1/4 Conversion Table.

DA would have been around 2100 at the time of the run.

Your best pass of 9.4 @ 75 mph Sea Level Corrected shows to be 9.17 @ 76.9 mph.

Estimated 1/8th mile to 1/4 mile conversion:
9.4 = 14.66
9.17 = 14.27

Get the 60' down! Try a pair of 28" Slicks and let us know the results. It doesn't look like you had much wheel spin, but it's hard to tell from the video. Plenty of gear and converter to get that big girl moving.
Awesome man thanks! I like those times better, even though they don't matter much. I always wondered what the corrected time would be.

State Capitol Raceway.com

It's in Louisiana. 18' above sea level You would run 14.20s at his elevation with your current setup. Don't feel bad! Get your truck on some tire and wait for cooler weather. You will be happy then! Just remember .1 at 60' = .2 at 1320'.

Yeah a 3600-3800 would have been a lot better but I had this one laying around already and didn't want to buy a new one. Shifts at 6500 or 6600, can't remember which.

People never take DA into account on lap times... Most the guys that people set as benchmarks are in Florida, Louisiana, or Houston. Always look at the time and date on the timeslips. Most of those guys are running in the deep south at tracks that are near or below sea level in the dead of winter...

Well I did just pick up a nitrous kit for it a couple weeks ago.. I think 150 shot should get me rolling pretty good. Do you think some slicks and 125-150 shot would get me into some low 8s? Would ultimately like to have a 12 second truck with the spray.
