Finaly made it back to the track!
With highs of 94+ today and temps at 91 when I got to the track I knew times weren't going to kick ***. I suppose I can't be too upset had a best of 14.7@94 mph. It is also with the truck not shifting correctly into third(tiny hesitation on this run). I left the track long before it cooled off at all and didn't run the juice because something is up with the tranny. It never wanted to go into third correctly and refused on a few of my runs making 15 second plus times.
For those who don't know my best before the short bed was 14.2 so that was my goal to hit but next time it might be cooler and I will have my trans figured out.
14.1@97 mph is the corrected times, So I am VERY happy with that. Now if the trans issue turns out an easy fix that would make tonight feel much better.

2nd takes you to 110!?! In what vehical? Your truck I only get about 80 mph.
yes the 80e was racebuilt buy a good friend and great trans builder just about a year and a half(5000 mi or less.) ago. Fluid is a little burnt so I am hoping a fluid change and cooler days will net no more issues. Drove home without any real issue.

yea with my 3.73 gear and old 31.9" tires I would shift at 6400 right around 110. Current tires are 30.5 so it shifts around 105.
What tire size and gear do you have? I am thinking about 4.10's or 4.30's but don't want my highway to suffer too much.
