The thinking was (or, at least all the bragging) that this year the smallblock poweradder class would be full of "7-second Camaros and Mustangs" although it appears that, once again, 99.94% of the loud guys on the internet that promised to show, didn't. There are a couple quick ones though, Brian Hinson is there with his badass turbo LS1 RX7... and a fox chassis stang with an LS1, loaded up with a direct port nitrous system...
So anyhow, Jim is focusing on dialing in as close to an 11.0 sec average ET as possible. He just might be able to win a class two years in a row!! RUnning 11's is easy in the truck, there shouldn't be any breakage or reliability concerns and tuning for an exact time is actually a lot of fun.
Good luck Jim!

i dont think we are doing gateway this year. no nittos, pump gas and stock tires this year. it takes about 2 minutes to get ready once we are at the track, that is nice.
monday was a rain day and today isn't looking much better. i really want to get some runs in. truck is running good. with me driving it i got 13.5mpg and with my girlfriend driving it we got 15.08 mpg.
we are headed to the track now(in the rain). hopefully it will dry up soon.
edit...woops. this is jim. kyle must have been on my computer.
