Default first run with 80E and stock 80e converter


I'm real happy with how it ran. I only made 2 passes and had to let out of it on the 2nd. Spun bad on the 2-3 shift on the second run. I don't know if something was on the track. I should have left it in 4wd the whole pass.

That looks about right loosing 3 tenths from the swap. You will see that your speeds will be higher thou with it. I love my 80e but I think its going to take some spray to get her off her butt.

Get a performance converter and see those times drop! Although your no slouch now lol!!

Dont ya just love how the 80e shifts? and the piece of mind???!!!!!!



Yeah man, LEAVE it in 4x4 the whole way down the track!

Mine spun also 3/4 down the track on the shift when i was 2wheel, scared me a bit haha!

I built my 60e with 90% of the parts availiable today....I may as well see how far I can push it in my truck, but if it gives out to soon I'll go 80e

Nice. I dropped .1 and gained 1mph goin to the 80e from a TT3000 65e to a stock TC 80e love the way it shifts.
Did some logs friday night cause i was bored. 6400rpms 1-2 was 65 and 2-3 110

This should be a new lifted mph record in ls based trucks.This is based on what I've seen on this website.Silveradol33 ran 110.6 but I won't be touching his 12.0 ET.

It is a 246 t-case.

Tim- Yeah man,the 80E is awesome.My log of the run where I spun shows 85mph at the shift then instantly 111mph spin. not cool
