First time out
First time out!! Only ran 3 times and best was 8.2 at 88 mph!! Far cry from my low 7 or high 6 predictions!! Haha!! Definitely had a great time and met a few of you guys as well. I'm just glad the truck ran straight down the track. Theres so much left on the table though. My 60ft was a 2.1!!! Lol horrible..... Gonna do some changes and getting it retuned at a higher boost. Also gonna bump the gear up to 4.55 from the the 3.30 gear that's in there now. The motor bogs the whole way down and doesn't get out of first gear till about 50 ft before the finnish line. All in all I'm happy with the set up. Gonna head to nelson once I get my new gear. I also need to work on my reaction times. I'm sure everyone knew I was a newb at the track. Left early on my first pass, left early on my second pass and left really really really early on my last pass!! Hhaahaha!!! I've got.a.video and ill post it up tomorrow!!

LOL...dude I run the exact times 8.23 at 88mph and That was a 12.73 at 107.7 LOL. I was disappointed too And just like you I have no 60 ft!! With my 278mm converter and 3.23s I dead hook a 1.99 LOL!

342's with 28 inch drag radial. im shifting at 6100 and that was all boost. i only made 3-4psi and didnt make full boost till 2nd gear. but i am putting a 50-100 shot this week and will be out there sunday. gonna spray it out the gate only and get my 6 second pass and drive that bitch back home! hell i didnt even adjust tire pressure when i got there lol.
but as far as your truck goes. i wouldnt sweat the numbers, turbo's take some time to get lined out and when they do their fast as ****! youll be well in the 6's soon
