Default First time at the track

I did my first ever run last today, I did 3 runs in total, first 2 I did a small burnout to warm up the tires, had a decent reaction time for a first timer (2 of 3 were about .900 sec) Anyways on the 20s with 285/50 and long tube headers no cats, no tune, I ran a best time of 15.63 and my second time was 15.64, and the 3rd time with no tire warm up was terrible 16.1

These times sound right considering Im 4x4, headers, no cats WITHOUT a tune?

did you run in 2wd or 4x4? sounds right though.

a tune will make a hell of a difference

I always give mine a quick dusting, not a burnout. Did you get any wheel spin at all? Even NA I never could master 2wd launching Your ET is about right for no tune, I bet you get it down closer to 15 with tuning and just a little more practive. Fun huh!

yeah I wouldnt say I did a burnout, about a 3 second spin if that, just to get rocks/sand/water off, it was about 30 C yesterday so it was hot out, Im thinking if I brake stalled it some and with practice I should be able to get it near 15.2-15.3. And no it didnt spin off the line, I didnt all out punch the gas from a dead stop
