First time at the track

I went to the track in amarillo this weekend with my 2003 bolted regular cab and was a little disappointed...
I heard the tracks altitude makes you run slower than in houston and everything but still thought id run faster...
Best time was a 15.67 at 90.19 mph...i was on street tires and spun past the 60 foot mark so that could have also been changed, what would be a good estimate of my time if i could have hooked?

to the OP, letting out a hair to give the tires a chance to hook if you're blowing them off already or just rolling into the throttle off the line instead of mashing it down will help out those 60' times. the gas pedal isn't an on/off switch.

And it may be different for different cars...that was just my personal experience in my LT1 car. Every vehicle/driver will have a different technique that works best for them, its just finding that right one that nets you the best results.
