yea, id rather have some slippage in there just incase. Spools can be harsh to axles. a Eaton LSD or a Trutrac is goin to allow some wheel speed difference and help axles some.

well see what the budget allows, in all honesty i might have to take out a loan i kinda want this thing back out on the street but just done rompin on her for a while. and i would go with an lsd again but in my 90 i had a auburn pro series lsd and i hated it, itd overpower even on 33s when i went to lay into it. sometimes itd catch both others itd catch one. n no matter what if i was turning right and layed into it the one wheel wonder would come into play
also i got pretty much everything out from under the truck today, exhaust d-shafts tcase pretty much everything other than the trans. on the drivers side near the linkage theres the two weather packed clips. small one and the larger one that sits above the small one. in all honesty idk what happened but this thing is stuck, ive been fighting with it for an hour and it will not budge. i had to walk away since the small purple wire got pulled out. i mean whatre my options? depin the harness and solder it or have to cut one out from a junkyard and solder one in...i swear this past week i havnt been able to catch a break

just thought id give everyone an update, damage done to the trans was the rolled sprag gear which ended up taking out the low kevlar clutches and an element. trans/t-case and all that are back in and talked to the warranty specialists at 4wheelparts for the g2 gearset. lifetime warranty is still in check and ive got a new gearset on the way, truck should be back on her feet by next week sometime

definitley pretty happy about it! only thing is im hoping to god the boneyards got a g80 in stock just for the time being. once ive got the dough i think im gonna put a nice lsd or a full detroit unit in the back but for now being able to get around and actully find work again is my main concern. unforunitley tbss intakes gotta go though

whats up everyone, had a few questions to ask since im new to the whole "track" deal. within the next 2weeks GLD will be opening. needless to say theres been some beef going on with some kids that refused to run me on the street last summer, they still refuse to line up unless its at the track so im making the trip out there to settle the **** talking.
my questions are if the track isnt or is prepped how is traction going to be compared to on the street? also ive got a pretty loose converter should i try leaving any differently than i would on the street or can i try leaving harder etc? i honestly have no idea what to expect, ive never ran the strip i know street racing isnt to be talked about on here but for as long as ive had my liscense its been the only way of racing. if anyone could help me out itd be greatley appreciated!
thanks
