Hey I don't doubt it can happen lol. I once lost to an awd supercharged 4 banger in the ZO6 from a stoplight because I blew the tires off 3 times so I just called it quits and took the beating lol. 4 banger FTW! It happened to be a very slick service road I guess. Sure was funny.

No it was just an impromptu street thing lol. I did get pulled over by two cops though for killing an SS Camaro on the highway, I don't know 6-8 car lengths. I nailed it from 60-110 then immediately shut it down...gotta be safe. They only got me but ended up giving me a warning! They were very nice and I sure appreciated it! He was telling me his brother in law got a Vette and had 3 tickets the first month. Ouch! My turbo truck was quicker but it was still just a truck. Damn that Vette was beautiful just not practical. Wish I had em both back.

Yeah I was pretty shocked but it was just a quick burst and then back down to ~60 immediately. Maybe my good fortune had something to do with the sexy *** lady I had with me lol? Or maybe they were just getting off of work late and wanted to go home...never know.

dont know if this makes any difference but on facebook GLD said that they scraped down the track, and i know the track will not be prepped. is them scraping the pavement gonna worsen or improve traction? also weather for this day should be around 45-50

It all depends how much work they put into the track after scaping it.

I highly doubt you will have taction issues at the track. VHT alone is sticky and you say you have low tread on your tires. Combine that with you power level and I don't think the big stall will be enough to have big traction issues. I could be wrong because 3500 is fairly big to be hitting a street tire with.

When are you going to the track?

from what i heard the track will still be unprepped, and last night as i was prepping the truck i rotated the tires so now the slicks are up front(cant afford hitting radius band right now). even getting this thing to hook on the street is a challenge but if theyve got some vht down hopefully this thing moves a little bit. from what ive heard gld is very lazy with track prep until summer is actully in session. and were gonna be heading to the tomarrow. not gonna lie though my nerves are already starting lol

That is the fun of going to the track. The excitment, the nervousness, the hopefull excitement. Worst case you have a new goal to achive.
