First times on 408.
Well, I went out to Kennedale for the first time in a long while, first track visit with the 408..
RT: .896
60': 1.936
330: 5.481
mph: 63.87
1/8th: 8.420
MPH: 82.42
Im hoping for better times, but we'll see.

I agree that looks a little slow to me also. My lead sled ran a 8.31 @ 83.49 last Saturday on a set of M&H DR and my motor is a cam only stock LS6 out of a 04 Z06. You should be eating my lunch with that stroker.

Yea, I felt it was a bit slow too, I have very little experience at the track for one, which is a biiiig factor lol, plus 3.42's in the rear end with stock locker g80.
As for compression ratio, its at 10.04:1.. I wanted to keep it low incase I ever decided to go with some sort of FI.
It was with MT ET streets as well, the best time was at 23psi tire pressure.
One factor that diden't help me much was the full bottle of nitrous in the bed(not using until I get my backup car running and I get new tranny and rear end lol), the full interior, by full I mean full of crap lol.. sub box, briefcase, changes of clothes, my school stuff, and full interior weight, plus a set of tires for the back two wheels in the bed(20's). i'd say I could shave at least 350-400lbs off just with that stuff alone..

If you ran that at a near sea level track I would think it's a bit slow but running at higher altitudes and DA's kills impressive times. For example, I ran my 11.50 in the valley with 65 degree but my best here in west texas is a 12.3 in colder 50 degree weather. I didn't run any of my two passes in the valley on motor but I imagine they would have to be 12's and not 13.3 like my best motor pass here. I think your truck is doing fine.

I'll probably start off simple, get more experience on the track, and start logging my runs and bringing them to TRT and seeign if theres any room for improvement.
