He should have been able to run 8.7 on motor......

His mph isnt even high to compensate for the slow 60 or spinning. IMO those times were be fine on motor, its almost like the nitrous didnt even work.

The converter is a tad small, but anybody else with those mods runs 8.5-8.9. Some even do that with less mods. Hell, ChevroletAllTheWay just sprayed a 150 with his 4.8 into 7.5 1/8th mile........

I wouldnt spray that truck anymore, something is wrong with the tune or the nitrous set up. Does it actually feel alot faster spraying the nitrous compared to on motor?

once it cools off your times will drop, along with with more practice.
The track you run on isn't a true 1/4 mile either though is it?

well something was wrong for sure cuz 2 days after that it broke so i guees i´ll put a good converter on that thing and see what happends next, transmission will be on its way back to check it, and yeah it feels faster with the nitrous

your times were ok, on a 150 shot you should see at least 12.5's even with your 20's.
Cooler weather will still help but not nearly as much. If you need verification look at a DA calculator and it will tell you that nitrous or FI motors change X and N/A motors change Y

Y will be a much bigger change than X because with nitrous you "bring weather with you".

but it still makes a difference. higher iat temps bring timing down, high ect temps bring temps down. and I am not crazy about the tune, may have a lot left on the table. timing = power even with nitrous. running 25* vs 20* on a hot day makes a diff on the jug.

Those times sure seem slow for your mods.
