Default First track pass with the new setup

So, I've yet to make it to the track since i swapped in the 5.3 in place of the V6. I had alot of bugs to work out and finally got it running pretty decent. Im more of a street guy but me and corey (BlackGMC) made it to the track last weekend.
I had alot of fun and got 5 passes in. 3 on street tires and 2 on slicks.
Best time was a 13.91 at 98.5 mph 2.1 60ft and a 9.0 1/8th at 81
my little TB stall is killing me down low but its what i have to work with for now.
Anyways... this vid took 30min to download so i'll get the other run downloaded later.

I was on street tires this run up against Corey. He went 12.9 and i went 13.9
DA was about 350ish all day which is great for us DFW guys

Enjoy

Is this a new best? If so congrats! You have a pretty good size cam right? A new converter and gears is in your future.

Went from a 16.4 with the V6 to a 13.9 with the V8
The cam is 224/230 EPS
I have 3.73's don't plan on going up from there, I do ALOT of highway driving/ roll racing
Converter is a must.

I really like the way that cam is set up! I've been throwing around the idea to up-date my cam.

That track is long as hell. Here you damn near have to slam on the brakes right after the 1/4 mile otherwise you are in the jungle here.

Trucks sounds good. Congrats.

Talk with geoff at EPS. It takes some time to get the cam but its damn worth it in my opinion!

I had the cutout open hence the loudness.

I'll upload the run with slicks later. It literally took me about 40 minutes for this video to upload

I ran the same time on slicks/street tires. My 2.1 60ft kills me though due to my converter. Its ok though im happy with a 13.9 for now. Hell kennys truck runs a 14.5 or something but its a different story on the street lol
