08 RCSB Sierra WT 4.8L w/3.73 & G80
has the heavy 17" steel wheels and 245 generals
took off the tailgate and spare
race weight was 4585 w/me

stock:
2.36
10.1@71.58
15.65@86.66

trans/pe tuning:
2.34
9.94@72.7
15.33@89.84

got it down to the following, still just tuning, everything else is stock. thinking my first mod will be a 3k converter.

2.338
9.7644 @ 74.50 mph
15.042 @ 91.35 mph

93 octane now. the 15.3 in the original post was on 87.

Very nice. A converter alone will get you mid 14's if you can get it to hook.

yeah, with my crap 60 ft I think it will make a big difference. we will see!
