on the same track Nelson went 8.9 at 13x..... seems like their mph might have some issues.

truck is still fast as hell though!!!!!

1/8 mile stats show,

Your HP computed from your vehicle 5.946 ET is 920.89 rear wheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle 124.7 MPH is 1,210.26 rear wheel HP.

Which is about in line for his 9.1 1/4 mile ET, but nothing even close to hp needed to run 175MPH... Would have to have picked up about 600 or MORE hp at half track to back door that 175MPH.

And with a Glide, with no OD and no lock up converter, depending on the gear the truck has, that motor would have been SCREAMING through the traps, and I don't know how much shut down that racks has, but it would have been WORK to stop that truck from 175 with no chute too.

I don't know, everything adds up on that slip, but the MPH... Just sayin... Not trying to start anything.
I agree with Kyle on this. This is no doubt an extremely fast truck and deserves a ton of respect. All I can think of is the time I ran a 1.69 60' on stock tires and suspension in my 2wd truck. I was working on tire pressure and launching, got my slip back and was very surprised. I still have no idea what happened. There was a glitch in the system that said I got 1.69. Like Kyle said I don't want an arguement, and that is one of the fastest trucks on the planet.

Well the other thing is he said he left on 5psi and only got to a total of 18psi in first, on a glide geared tall enough to go 175+, how fast could it go in first? 115+? So almost all of the 1/8 was ran in first gear not nearly full power, then in second it got full power, PLUS he spun off the dig, so yeah 1/8 mile wont match his 1/4 mile...

IMO, you can only compare 1/8 mile with 1/4 mile if you have a full power launch and full power run to the 1/8 as well

Here's another example, my truck...

My 1/8 mile don't match my 1/4 mile even close! According to the Wallace 1/8-1/4 calculator, I should have ran a 13.05@118.67 but I actually hit full boost in first and second.

Your 60' is what is killing you. If you knocked off some 60' time, it would be much closer.

I see what your saying and I agree with you on your pass, but his ET didn't pick up from 1/8 to 1/4 like yours did. How do you go 600-700 hp faster (mph) in the second half but not go quicker (et)???

Even if the 1/8 mile was at 18psi and the second 1/8 was at 25psi, that's a 6-700 hp gain from only 7psi of boost???

I agree, the truck is fast as hell, but I just have to think there was a timing glitch with that mph...

True true, I got to thinking about it a little more last night, and you're right. Something doesn't add up... If only he had made another pass to back it up...
