Default Fuel filter ?

The best time i can pull out of my 02 5.3 rcsb catback, cai and mild tune was 15.1 at 90 mph 2.3 60' on 90 degree day.

Today i replaced the fuel filter because i didnt know if it had been changed, when i pulled it off i noticed it look factory. i could barely blow through it so i cut it open and the paper part was caked with black ****. truck has 89000 miles.

on top of the filter i replaced the plugs from some denso plugs to NGK. and cleaned the tb and intake.

Does anyone think a 14 is in her future

I figured for the price of the filter its worth replacing every year.

I just want to say my 4600 pound beast can run in the 14s

should run 14....fuel filters should be changed every 30,000 or so.....obviously restricting fuel flow will hurt so you should see a gain, it just depends on how much of a gain....
