Default Fun at the track

So we have the stupidest track in the whole US.. Its 500'.... yea 1/8th mile is 660'. Any way.

Nice hot and humid Sat night.

First pass
5psi
2.35 60'
7.92 @ 71 (Remeber 500' not 660')

Sencond pass
5psi
2.34 60'
7.93 @ 71

Third pass on a 50 shot through a TB Spacer from Nitrous Dave? AFR was 10.8 in boost so the shot was a lil rich. On a WOT switch, stallin it to 2000 and hittin it at line.
2.04 60'
7.087 @ 78.1

Forth pass was something like a 2.08 60'
7.09 @ 78?

Any way I was happy. Dropped 9 tenths in 500'

This was on LQ4/80E stock verter/3.42s/26" MT DRs/STS 5psi.

Full street weight @ 5000#s.

Went back tonight and the track sucked bad..
2.2 60's spinning
7.2s@76
Couldn't get it to hook at all, so we left.

For a comparo Dockrocker ran 6.7s at 500'. and 12.3 in the 1/4 but truck let out bout 1000' or so.

Mine doesn't pull off the line worth a crap with just boost... The 50 shot wakes it up!

That's my story for now. Tired of typin on the phone...

Great times, love that 50 shot. BTW, I know the general concensus says 3.42's with a turbo, but when I was running 5.5 lbs. and 3.42's I dropped .64 in the 1/8 going to 4.10's. BUT, I've always ran the 20's on it so that may change things alot. Didn't seem to affect my gas mileage either. I think nowadays with the gas prices, a stock converter with a little juice at the track may be the way to go.

Actually Tuesday night traction sucked bad.. spun through 60' and still managed a 7.2.

3.42s with 26" Mickey Thompson DRs.. trapped at 5600 in 2nd gear at 78.
my Toyos are 29". Sprayin on the interstate is insane.
The stock 80E converter is fairly loose, not to mention a stall is $900+. Ah, No thanks.

After all the I gave you about not posting up I finally found it!
Good improvments Jonathan but your still slow...yeah I said it bitch!!
Nice runs, I'm gonna do a small shot eventually too!! I think you'll do mid 12's because most of our power is mid to high rpm wise.
