Lol no kidding...109 here today. I'm supposed to drag my trans back to CA today, but screw doing that in Julien's truck with no AC! Traveling by night ftw.

FWIW, I'd love to see you line with with f22, Richard. The dude better be packing some heat to keep up with 107mph in the 1/8...

To be honest, If I had another truck and a trailer I would trailer my truck to the track. Just in case something happened. My buddy blew up his engine while we were at a track about 120 miles from Tucson. His tow bill was crazy.

That headgasket ever get nicked that you were scared about?
The term nic'd or nick did happen to me at silver dollar earlier this year. It's when the head gasket recieves just a small amount of damage, usally like a screwdriver was gouge'ing it. Almost like you picked a small piece out of it. It happens when you get a spike in combustion pressure because of detonation, too much timing, ect. Hence the term "nic". It allows the cooling system to pressurize with combustion gasses and eng overheat without loosing a substantial amount of coolant. Thankfully I brought my trailer.

Here's a news flash for you, people who have fast trucks they built and tuned(Foose and Atomic) aren't dumb. They know you've seen their times and you're still cocky so you must be faster. You're also calling people in fullsize trucks out in your midget truck. Even if you win what have you proven? That your car weight trailer queen truck is faster? Good job, there's always someone faster out there.

Quit talking crap to everyone, be a contributing member or don't use the site.
Look there, I contributed. In this sites Terms of Useage, it states that I can use this site for my "personal entertainment, information, education, and communication." Nowhere does is say I have to contribute to it. By contributing do you mean patting each other on the back, or taking thier side in an argument? I have not used "Strong, vulgar, obscene language", or "harrasing, intimidating, stalking, or threatining" language in any way. I have always used an icon after a statement to express sarcasim or humor. I simply invited a local racer to get together at a legal venue. No bets were made. No bullying. Did I ever tell you how much I love longhorn football, Texas, and chevy"s? .

See some of us just arent in the modding trucks to win and smack talk.. I Love shooting more than racing. So lets go at it!!

Ok im bored at work and have nothign better to do than ***** up Atomic's thread..
Bear with me here. I hav'nt figured out the multi quote function yet. I would love to go shoot with you. I have a SIG 556 classic with tacticle scope. Plenty of powerlines across the street for long distance shooting.. Sounds like a good time. P.S. Can I set the targets up in the bed of your truck? LOL.

You, on the other hand, never say what your truck(s) really run and wont tell any details about their setup. If thats the way you want to play then thats fine, but not exactly fair is it? If you drive whatever your going to race from atlanta to steele I would be happy to race you. Seems to be about the middle between us and ive been wanting to go to a 1/4 anyway. I dont race anyone for money, not at this time anyway, because I have been too honest. I like drag racing because its fun and have a vehicle that is a blast to drive, not because I like calling people out or proving how much of a badass I am for what I drive.
Sweet. You will like steele. Thier fri night program is a deal. I was just out your way this past weekend. Chilton co dragway for thier index race. A bad wreck ended our night early . I'll try to remember how to post a pic, and put up my qualify'ing slips. They have my name on them, so no funny buisness. You guys take your smack talk waaayy too seriously. We do talk some shiot, and after go and eat. Laughing and carry'ing on all night. It'll be a good time.

You can outrun some street cars with these daily driven trucks, but if the car is set up right with no rules we don't have a chance. The power to weight ratio is just too far against us. It doesn't take all that much to go 9's NA, and 8's with a power adder in a ~3300lbs car chassis. 850~900 FWHP can get you into the 8's in a decent set up car chassis. It takes almost double that in one of these power robbing 4x4 trucks....
