Got beat by a "street car"

Hell I live in ohio and wouldn't consider a Daily driven street car unless it has air! Sweating sucks! I can only imagine the horor living further south!

I am driving spoolins truck through phoenix right now and have watched the thermometer go over 100. His truck has no AC, but seeing as it is toting my *** 9 hours back to california, it is very much a street truck. I don't want to hear the 'no AC isn't a street car/truck' bullshit...

You can outrun some street cars with these daily driven trucks, but if the car is set up right with no rules we don't have a chance. The power to weight ratio is just too far against us. It doesn't take all that much to go 9's NA, and 8's with a power adder in a ~3300lbs car chassis. 850~900 FWHP can get you into the 8's in a decent set up car chassis. It takes almost double that in one of these power robbing 4x4 trucks....
Awesome runs Atomic, keep at it man!
About the A/C conversation, I like to use that as a common rule here in SC. You would be surprised how small the quick "street" car list gets if you have to sit in 30-45 minutes of traffic each way to work when its 100 degree and humidity to match it.
