Default Got my first times with the Radix but..

It was fairly dissapointing.

Ok well I went out expecting the worse so it wasnt too bad. I still have the jacked up stall that PI sent me when I tried to build an N/A setup. Last year I dyno'd 345rwhp yet could only pull off a 2.68 60' and a high 15sec 1/4mile @93/94mph. The stall is supposed to be a 3000 but would sit right at 2000rpm and wouldnt even let me power brake. We installed the Radix and decided to check out the converter with the new TQ to see if it would work better before we ripped it out and sent it back to PI. Enter today......

Not sure of the DA yet but it was nice and cool but cloudy. I wasnt too hopeful so I decided to run the truck completely loaded. IE: full stereo, tailgate, rear seat and a couple extra amps (picked up for a friend), 4L80E, and my new 200amp alternator sitting shotgun . I didnt get to weigh the truck but I'm thinking around 5400lbs or maybe a bit more.

First run sucked. Had my 100lb sister riding on this run.

60' 2.14
1/8: 9.09 @ 78.55mph
1/4: 14.05
MPH: 100.5

My next runs were similar but without the sister but more heat soak.

Best run after a nice cool down.

60' 2.08
1/8: 8.90 @ 78.90
1/4: 13.922
MPH: 100.8

Was tapped by my 12yr old sister so it didnt come out well.

Best Run Video

The truck simply sucks *** off the line. It only flashes to about 2300rpm then lags while I get into my powerband then screams down the rest of ther 1/4. By the time I'm 3/4 of the way down the track its feeling pretty damn good but the first 330 or so is kinda dismal.

I got to meet some pretty cool truck guys though so it was a fun night. I was pretty impressed with the guy with the Denali truck with a Radix who was running high 13s @ 94-96mph! Not bad for a 5800lb SUV

Need to get that stall lined out and you will be alot better off and of course get rid of the N/A cam and get one better suited to boost I seem to remember on your dyno chart that it was bleeding off a significant amount of boost. I would bet you were closer to 5500# race weight. Im at a little over 5600 with my tool box full of **** 2 12s with box two amps and all the other **** you carry with you normally with less than a 1/4 tank of gas.

Thats not bad times F8L. I just cant figure why everyone is running 2.0x 60's and hitting 13's, and I am hitting 1.94 60's and i cant get near 13's? Stupid heavy truck. I am shifting into 4th gear by the time i hit about 90 though. I am shifting into 4th at 4700rpm @ 91/92mph......of course i am almost at the end of the track at that point, just not quite enough rpms left to eek out the last 75' or so. My redline is 4750 on this truck. I guess i could try and hold 3rd a little longer maybe.

LOL, it was... I used my helmet though so less chance of dmg

Normally I strip the truck down and its much safer.

Im going to talk to Rick and have PI send me a new converter and then work on the 90mm TB and such. If I can get into the low 13s high 12s I'll be happy with this setup.

Yeah, it was a Hemi. The guy was really cool though. I ended up racing him 3 times out of 4. Poor guy.

His best time was 15.75@86.5mph 2.46 60'. He is bone stock in a QC Hemi. He cut good lights to my crappy lights all day lol.
